Can-Do Disposal

Please set all waste containers out for pick-up the night before your scheduled service day. Our trash routes will start at 4:30 a.m. As our business grows, our pick-up time at your residence may change a  little, but before long you will be able to expect to see us like clockwork!

Materials and items which pose a safety concern for our employees must be disposed of properly. Medical needles, glass, razor blades and/or other sharp items must be sealed within protective containers before disposing into trash bags or trash containers.

No. Ash and/or fire debris poses a huge fire hazard to our employees and our equipment. Under no circumstances will we accept any combustible items such as fire ash, liquids and/or gases for disposal.  for   

Yes, we will accept two regular size car tires without rims, per resident, per service day.  Each tire is considered equal to one bag toward your 6 bag limit.

In order to service large items effectively, we require only two things. First that you contact us before putting large item/s out on your service day. This communication is to ensure that we have two people available to load the item/s into our truck. Beyond that, the item/s must be acceptable for processing at the York County Incinerator. Which in a nutshell means, they must be burnable. As a rule of thumb, most furniture, wood or plastic, would be acceptable for "Large Item Disposal", while most metal and appliances are not. We will gladly discuss our specific large item disposal needs when you contact us to schedule pick-up.

Prior to and during bad weather events we will make every effort to communicate changes in scheduled service directly to effected customers. Our Website homepage will be updated with real time service bulletins when bad weather is anticipated and throughout it's effects on our customer service areas. It is our goal to resume service for our customers as soon as this can be accomplished safely for both our employees and the public whom which we share the streets.

We will make every effort to communicate changes in scheduled service days to effected customers  prior to each holiday. Our Website homepage is also updated with real time holiday service bulletins. Typically, if a holiday falls on your scheduled service day or before your scheduled service day, your trash pick-up will be postponed only until the next day. For example, Thanksgiving falls on Thursday so only Thursday and Friday service customers will be effected. Thursday customers will be serviced on Friday and Friday customers will be serviced on Saturday.

Yes. However, the equipment on our trucks needed to handle containers this large is designed to lift the commercial grade containers that Can-Do Disposal provides. We will do our best to extend the lifespan of your container, but we will not take responsibility for broken trash containers that are not provided to you by Can-Do Disposal.
