Compassionate Mortality Removal Service Questions:

What geographic area do you service?

Our service area is based on the total driving distance necessary to complete the job. Using an internet map program, we typically service animals within a total driving distance of 100 miles from our base of operations in Dallastown, PA.  If the total distance is greater than 100 miles our service may be charged at a higher rate to compensate for the additional mileage and time.

What interment options do you provide?

Can-Do Disposal can provide the following interment options to best suit your wishes:

  • Burial at an environmentally sound location
  • Cremation
  • Rendering

We also provide delivery service to locations such as Veterinary Laboratories. Our fee for transporting a carcass from its stable to these facilities and other locations will be predetermined based on time and distance. Can-Do Disposal, Inc. will not take responsibility for additional fees associated with delivery to other facilities.

When and how do we pay for your service?

Full payment for our mortality service will be requested at the time of service. We accept cash or checks. Regrettably, we do not accept credit cards at this time.

Are you available to pick-up animals 24/7?

You may call us to schedule mortality service any time day or night. Regrettably, we are unable to take possession of an carcass unless an immediate disposal option exists. Therefore, our service can typically be fulfilled Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 2:00 PM. We ask that advanced notice be given whenever possible. However, understanding the nature of this service, we will strive to make you our top priority upon receipt of your phone call.

What do you mean by "Compasionate Mortality Removal"?

We make every effort to respect

What if my animal dies while inside an enclosed structure or in pasture?

Regrettably, Can-Do Disposal is not equipped or insured to remove a carcass from an enclosure. Loading the animal will require that our truck and container can be backed, unobstructed, directly to the carcass. The driving surface must be sufficient to bear the weight of our equipment without the risk of getting stuck or damage to equipment, surface and subsurface items. If conditions do not allow for uncomplicated access to the animal, the customer will have to provide the means necessary to move the carcass to a more suitable location for loading.

Manure & Bedding Disposal Service Questions:

Can I throw trash an debris in with the manure & bedding?

No. If trash and othr debris is found mixed within the manure & bedding, we will have choice but to dispose of the material at a local landfill. Our pricing will then be deterimined by the total weight of the material and reflect the much higher cost associated with disposal of waste at a local landfill.
